Q: WHAT THE FLIP IS THAT LIGHTNING CABLE DOING COMING OUT OF YOUR PHONE IS IT CHARGING THE PHONE? IS IT CONNECTED TO THE REMOTE? WHAT IS IT?
A: First off; no it isn't connected to my controller. It is connected to my MacBook Pro simply so that I can record my iPhone screen with Quicktime Player. I do this because there isn't currently any other way to record an iPhone screen with an app.

Q: Where are the recorded videos stored?
A: There is a micro SD card on the camera of the drone itself that stores all the videos/photos recorded. The drone when you first buy it comes with a free included 8GB micro SD card:).

Q: How did you shoot in 4K from a 2.7k camera? What are your camera settings?
A: The simple answer is I didn't. The reason that this video is in 4K is due to me using an iPhone 7 to record every other part of the video except the drone shots. This means that when I exported the video the 2.7K drone footage was upscaled to 4K when it was all said and done. As for camera settings, I just used the standard automatic settings and I didn't change any color profiles or any other things in settings. Also, I didn't add any color grading in post. This is just all stock footage from the drone itself.

Kids Find a Crashed Drone and "Play" With It | A Drone Pilot’s Worst Nightmare

Two kids find my crashed quadcopter in a bush, and my GoPro records their entire "adventure" with it. Caution: May cause slight discomfort to drone pilots.
Quick note: Please be nice in the comments. Yes, the kids were a little rough with the drone, but they didn't know any better. Please minimize your "hatred" towards them in the comments as much as possible.

Also, if anyone is curious about how the drone was found, here is the full story:
Immediately after I lost sight of the drone, as you would expect, I began to sprint down the field towards the trees. My friend and I spent about 2 or 3 hours that night looking through the trees and the nearby brush. While I was in one of the trees, I noticed some kids throwing something in the air on a hill far away. I couldn't tell what it was, but it was pretty windy that day so I assumed it was a kite. Soon it was too dark to see, so we headed home. The next day, after plenty of rain, we were searching for it all around the area where I had last seen it, still thinking it had landed in one of the trees or in the surrounding brush. After about 3 or 4 hours of searching, we took a lunch break. While I was eating my pizza under our tent, my grandmother was just curiously looking around with some binoculars we had and just happened to see a little white dot about a hundred yards away or so on the hill I had seen last night. I couldn't see it well enough to tell if it was the drone or not, but we weren't having any luck where we were anyway. We drove to that area and it was there! One propellor was broken, the GoPro and its housing were off and separated (which at the time I had thought to be caused by the impact.....), and there was plenty of water droplets on everything. After drying everything out, I downloaded the footage... boy was I surprised by what I found! Of course I was a little upset with those kids, but they really are kids and they don't know any better. In their mind, they were just helping out by trying to get it back in the air! So now I just look back at it all and laugh. Thank goodness my newer DJI Phantom 3 has resistance to power lines!

Now you can view the video coming from Syma X5SW on your Smartphone, Android or iPhone and take pictures and record videos with just one click on respective icons. All pictures and videos are stored directly on your Android or iPhone. It’s a very light weight quadcopter, so flying it outdoors, if there are winds, this quadcopter is not going to fly well. 3. Paring: Turn on the controller, the indicator flashes slowly. Push the left stick up and down, the indicator and LED lights turn to still simultaneously, then paring is succeeded.

4. Calibration: Push both control sticks to the right bottom and hold them on, the LED lights flash and stop within seconds, calibration is done.

Operation Practice:

1.Switch the speed mode to low speed at the very beginning.

2.Get use to the throttle stick slowly until you can understand how it works.

3.Get use to the trim buttons until you can adjust the drone to be close to hovering.

4.If you can’t tell the front of the drone, try to play under headless mode at first.

Drone crashes into beach kids at Seaside Park!

Watch this drone launch and later crash in Seaside Park. No one was hurt, but several people (including the life guard) wanted to steal the GoPro! Watch as the kids surround it and try to destroy it! One of the motors malfunctioned shortly after take off and the pilot had no control.
